We are currently seeking an experienced Director, Business Development to join our London/ Oakville office who would like to join a company that has created a unique working atmosphere that offers challenge, purpose and the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in a team-oriented environment.

Reporting to the Business Head, you will undertake the following:

• Attain all revenue and customer satisfaction targets as assigned
• Grow and strengthen existing relationships as well as developing new business within the lending and collections / recovery community
• Be the strategic contact for key accounts to ensure programs are operated as designed
• Be an active listener. Probe for customer needs and develop solutions for our customers that will allow us to expand and deepen those relationships
• Provide a high level of customer service to exceed our customer expectations and build customer advocacy
• Contribute to the overall growth of FCT by providing feedback regarding the market in which you participate
• Manage your accounts using FCT’s Best Practices
• Leverage and complement existing FCT relationships with potential suppliers by working closely in a coordinated fashion with other FCT sales forces
• Use all sales tools provided to their maximum capacity
• Manage your expenses within guidelines

• 5+ years sales and relationship management experience in the financial services industry with a strong knowledge of credit products and collection / recovery practices
• Business Development experience in B2B selling solutions and relationship management
• A strong customer focus with the ability to prospect, create leads, grow the business and manage accounts while fostering close account relationships and generating new sales to achieve and exceed individual sales targets
• Proven exceptional presentation skills
• Bilingual in English/French is preferred
• Strong initiative coupled with strong communication, time management and computer skills
• Consistently seeks out and encourages collaborative behavior in order to deliver the best customer solution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• This role will support clients in Montreal and the GTA
